(1) The South tour

Departing from/returning to Poolbeg Marina in Ringsend

Tour Duration: 60-75 minutes

Cost: €350 Per boat per trip

Note: Each boat holds 12 passengers

Details: The South tour departs Dublin Port and travels South around Dalkey Island, The Muglins Island, Killiney Bay and Dun Laoghaire. During this tour your group will be told about all the local sights by your guide/skipper who will also keep a close eye out for wildlife such as varying different species of migrating birds, wild goat and rabbitts (on Dalkey Island), porpoises and bottle nosed dolphins (specific wild life sightings while common can not be guaranteed).

(2) The Port tour

Departing from/returning to the pontoon on the M.V. Cill Airne (this is a large boat that has been converted into a restaurant/bar on the river Liffey situated outside the convention centre)

Tour Duration: 45-60 minutes

Cost:€15 per adult, €12.50 per student/senior, €10 per child (under 12 years old)

Details: The Port tour is a slow speed audio described tour (strict speed restrictions within Dublin Port due to the amount of vessel movement within its confines). Your skipper will also be on hand to point out many different things while the audio track will trace the history and development of Dublin Port and many areas of the city that surround the Port and the River Liffey, there is also a good chance to see wildlife such as varying different migratory birds, seals hunting and even Salmon jumping from the water (again wildlife sightings while common can not be guaranteed).
