Tramore is a really friendly seaside town in Co. Waterford that’s been a haven for tourists for years. So you can be sure of having a mighty stag party there.
The great thing about Tramore is its size and the fact that everything is so close – the cosy pubs, nightclubs and restaurants. The whole town overlooks the massive beach after which the town is named – An Trá Mhór – the big beach.
As you would expect there are plenty of water based activities to keep you occupied during the day from surfing, to kayaking, windsurfing. It’s one of the best spots for surfing in Ireland and all the surf schools really welcome stag parties.
Getting to Tramore is easy. It’s only 90 minutes from Cork and with the new Waterford – Dublin motorway only about 2 hours 30 from Dublin.
Being a tourist town, there is a great selection of accommodation from budget to the higher end as well as self catering for all sorts of stag parties.
Don’t forget to head for the amusements by the beach. Nothing like going for a spin in the bumper cars after a few pints. The only sort of drink driving that we recommend.
