Poitín if you didn’t know is a traditional Irish distilled drink that usually has an alcohol content of 40% up to even 90%. It’s strong stuff lads. It was traditionally in a small pot and is made from cereals, grain, whey, sugar beat, potatoes and molasses.
Over the course of the Poitín Distillery Tour & Tasting you will learn a bit more about the history. How it originated? You’ll also hear about the story of Micil Irish Poitín. The tour will also include the mixology process used in the distillery.
There will of course be a tasting at the end of the tour for you and the lads to taste some Poitín. Be prepared for a pretty strong drink lads. But sure it’s a stag party weekend and some Poitín is a great way to kick of the stag party antics.
