Thanks For The Memories Robbie Keane

He’s brought us so many memorable moments down through the years while wearing the Ireland jersey. Everyone tried his cart wheel and roll celebration on the green outside their house. His goals got Ireland to major tournaments. He scored some incredible goals that got the entire country rocking and is the reason we shout COYBIG.

I think you’ll all be in agreement, we just wanted to say Thanks For The Memories Robbie Keane. So here’s a look back at just some of his most important and memorable goals down through the years.

World Cup Qualifier against Holland

Robbie Keane has a habit of scoring goals against the dutch but during the 2002 World Cup Qualifying campaign he leaped like a salmon and connected beautifully with his head to send the Irish crowd and people at home into hysterics!

Ireland V Iran

After Ian Harte but Ireland ahead, Keane blasted in a volley to make sure of the result in the World Cup play off game. Robbie Keane’s goal is at the 2 minute mark.

The Hand Of Frog Game!

The game will be remembered for that moment by Henry but Ireland were superb on the night and anyone that was watching the game felt it was going to be a massive upset. Robbie Keane play out of his skin that night and bagged the opening goal to send shivers down the spine of the French.

Keane v Holland

This was a friendly in 2004 but it was one hell of a goal to score against the Dutch! Take a bow son!

That goal against Germany!

The setting, if we got the result, and the timing to put it past Oliver Kahn. It was one of those ‘where were you’ moments!

So again all we have to say here at, Thanks For The Memories Robbie Keane! With 67 international goals in 145 appearances I think we’re all hoping he can bag one last goal tonight!
