Stag Party – How to Plan Your Own Mystery Tour
Fancy planning a mystery tour for the upcoming stag party but you’re not sure how it all works? Well, read on because we’ve got a few tips on what to do and how to make the mystery tour the best it can be. Whether it’s near or far, a mystery tour can be the perfect idea for your stag party and it can be a new experience with the lads. So let’s cut the small talk and get straight to it. Don’t tell anyone the plan!
Whether there are a few lads planning the tour or it’s just you, don’t tell anyone else about the plan. It’s in the name. Everyone gets kept in the dark until they’re at each destination.
Try a new area
Whether you’re from the city or the country, it could be a great idea to switch things up. If you’re from the city, head to a few small villages. Or if you’re from a small village then head into a big city with a few stops along the way.
Music for the journey
Some places might be 15-30 mins apart so having some form of entertainment to keep the journey a bit more lively is always a plus! All you need is a Bluetooth speaker and a designated Travel DJ (preferably someone with good taste…)
Plan a new game for each destination
It’s going to be a long night hitting up a few different locations and a great way to keep the fun coming all night is to plan a different game for each location. For example, everyone could talk with an accent in the first place, and everyone must try a new drink in the second. Other games could be to get a selfie with someone random in each location, maybe even a game of beer pong. Get creative and make it as fun as possible.
Plan a food pit stop
We all need a bit of soakage at some stage as the night goes on. Plan a food stop somewhere along the way so that the lads can fill their bellies with some tasty food to prepare for a few more drinks afterwards.
Go big for the ending!
The main place should be kept until last, and we recommend either a nightclub or a lively bar with some good music, or maybe even a DJ to end the night before everyone is dropped back to where the night started.
Mystery tours are a great idea for any stag party and can be seen as one night-long activity. If you want to go from pub to pub and have a drinking session…sweet! If you want to plan an activity such as bowling mid way through the night…sweet as well! The choice is completely yours so get creative and make sure the fun will be had at every location!
