Carrick on Shannon is located in Ireland’s least populated county. Co. Leitrim for anyone that has not had the pleasure of visiting it, is a stunning little county in the West of Ireland. More importantly they’re both late bars. Dunnes is also the place to go if the weather is fine as it has a fantastic beer garden.
Murtaghs bar is spread over 3 floors and I’ve yet to have a bad night in there. There are plenty of pubs in Carrick so you won’t be short on choice. I think there’s 19 or 20 pubs and you’d walk all of Carrick on Shannon in about 15 mins. So you’re in luck if you fancy a pub crawl.
If you feel it’s time to pull some questionable shapes on a dance floor. Then Club 360 is the go-to spot. You’ll bump into plenty of other hens and stags partying the night away. The occasional inflatable willy might hit you but sure it’s all a bit of craic.
The one thing we always get from our stag parties that go to Carrick on Shannon is that they wish they could have stayed longer. The craic is non stop from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. The warm welcome you receive in this town is for me what adds to the appeal of Carrick. Everyone you come across are up for a good night out or making sure you have a great time on your chosen stag party activity.
